Media and Ministry
Our Stance On Social Media & Production
We honor the fact that many ministries and believers use social media, photography, and video to share the Gospel — and God can, and often does, use those tools powerfully. We celebrate when people encounter Jesus through those platforms.
“Whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice.” – Philippians 1:18 (NKJV)
But our conviction is this: we believe that social media can just as easily distract from Christ as it can point to Him. So our decision to minimize recording and self-promotion isn’t rooted in criticism of others; it’s an act of obedience to the specific conviction God gave us. For that reason, Last Watch Ministries chooses a different approach — a Christ-centered, humble expression of worship and service, where the altar remains sacred and every moment points hearts and minds back to Jesus alone.
- Many ministries use cameras and social platforms to reach souls online, faithfully spreading the Gospel, and God blesses their obedience.
- Sermons, worship, and testimonies can absolutely lead people to salvation and strengthen believers.
- Technology, when surrendered to Christ, can magnify Jesus and extend His reach to those who may never step into a church.
- We choose stillness over spectacle, trusting the Holy Spirit to draw people rather than algorithms or exposure.
- We focus on authentic encounters over audience engagement.
- We testify of God’s power through people, not through performance.
- We post only what builds faith, protects dignity, and glorifies Jesus Christ — never content that entertains curiosity at the cost of holiness.
“All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful.” – 1 Corinthians 10:23 (NKJV)
- There’s no competition between methods when the motive is pure.
- We believe God can have different assignments for different ministries.
- Some are called to reach through the airwaves, others through the altar.
- Each calling matters, but all exist for one purpose — to glorify Jesus Christ.
- Our assignment is to guard the sacred, protect the presence of God, and ensure that every eye, every mind, and every heart stays focused on Jesus.
- We stand alongside those who preach Christ in truth and live by His Word — walking our lane in obedience, not in comparison.
These scriptures are not shared in a spirit of legalism but as the foundation that guides our heart, our conduct, and our convictions.
- 1 Corinthians 10:23 (NKJV) — “All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify.”
- John 3:30 (NKJV) — “He must increase, but I must decrease.”
- Matthew 6:1 (NIV) — “Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.”
- 1 Thessalonians 2:4 (NKJV) — “But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts.”
- 1 Corinthians 10:31 (NKJV) — “Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
- 2 Corinthians 4:5 (NKJV) — “For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake.”
- 1 Corinthians 14:40 (NKJV) — “Let all things be done decently and in order.”
At Last Watch Ministries, our approach to ministry and media is rooted in sincerity, not spectacle. We strive to worship, minister, and organize every gathering with a spirit of excellence that honors God, but never for performance or applause.
Our desire is that every word, every song, and every moment would exalt Jesus Christ alone. We exist to carry His presence wherever He leads us — creating spaces in churches, events, and communities where hearts can freely encounter Him. Wherever you join us, our prayer is the same: that worship would be pure, the Word would be living, and all eyes would be fixed only on Jesus.
